What we collect

Account details you give us (name, work email, title, time zone), the requests you send, and what our assistants need to complete them, such as calendar entries, travel preferences and contacts. For assistants, we also collect application, assessment, background check and payroll details.

How we use it

To staff and supervise your assistant, complete your requests, check quality, bill you and keep the service secure. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use client data to train AI models.

Who can see it

Only the assistants staffed on your account and the SelahAssist ops team members whose role requires it. Every view of a stored password is logged. Providers we rely on for hosting, payments and background checks are bound by written agreements.

Where it is stored

In data centres in [CANADA AND/OR THE UNITED STATES]. Assistants work only from the United States and Canada.

How long we keep it

While your account is active, then for [RETENTION PERIOD] unless the law requires longer. Stored passwords are deleted as soon as an assistant is removed from your account or your account closes.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, including under PIPEDA, Quebec's Law 25 and US state privacy laws, you can ask to access, correct, export or delete your information. Email [PRIVACY EMAIL] and we will respond within 30 days.
